Mother’s Day in Margaret River

May is the month we celebrate all the special women in our lives. Mums, Mums-to-be and Mother figures.

We took the time to ask some special local Mum’s what their ideal day in Margaret River would be:

Our own boss lady Dee is a Mum to two cheeky boys, when we asked her to describe her perfect day in Margs she kept it simple ‘Coffee in bed, a walk from surfers point to the White Elephant Cafe, lunch at Glenarty Road, an afternoon movie by the fire, a good book in bed and an early night!’

Gio, one of our super star cleaners and Mum to lovely baby Thalia describes her perfect day ‘I love going to the beach, obviously when the weather allows, and Thalia loves it too. We love having a cappuccino & babycino in the morning and we looooove food. I enjoy spending time with friends with a glass of wine while the kids play. I also like practicing yoga, as I find it awesome for the body and mind, but unfortunately I don’t have lots of time for that anymore.
So that’s easy, for me a perfect day would be:
Vinyasa class
Breakfast in town
Beach
Winery Lunch / wine tour (possibly without my daughter)
Sunset
Pizza with beer or negroni or both (oh yeessss)
~ Happy days!’

Local Mum of two Sarita says ‘for a fun day out with the kids, The Berry Farm is a favourite for the best tea, scones and preserves, plus heaps of space for the kids to run around with a great playground area, so it’s a win win. We also love Rios for a Sunday Roast and Mr Barval winery is a fav spot for a relaxing wine and a cheese platter while the kids play. For a special pamper session I love an ice bath & sauna at Mend.

Sophie has been lucky enough to live in Margaret River her whole life and now has the pleasure of raising her two children in this beautiful town. Her family fave is a Sunday session at the Brewhouse with delicious food and also Teddis Big Spoon for a cook your own korean BBQ. For a solo pamper, a relaxing facial at Meraki!
