Pet-Friendly Beaches in Margaret River

Margaret River has the most beautiful beaches where dogs are welcome. Here are a couple of popular options:

  • Gnarabup Beach: The dog exercise area at Gnarabup Beach is one of the most well-known spots for dog owners. You can access it by parking at the White Elephant Café carpark and taking a short 5-minute walk along the coastal track. Alternatively, use the steps at the Reef Drive carpark for direct access. If you're looking for a starting point, Riflebutts Reserve in Gnarabup offers a playground, BBQ facilities, and beach access—an ideal place to relax before heading to the beach.

  • Gracetown Bay: Gracetown is another excellent dog-friendly beach. The designated off-leash area is slightly further around the bay from the main Gracetown Beach. Parking is convenient, with a large carpark nearby.
