The season starts from the 9th of November to the 12th of May - Strictly no outdoor fires at anytime of year at this property.

Residents and visitors are responsible for understanding and abiding by all fire restrictions. Penalties for non-compliance apply.

These items are complementary and additional supplies of these are available at any of the three supermarkets in town River Fresh IGA, Coles and Woolworths.

The large TV in the 3rd level living area is connected to Satellite TV free to air channels. Use the Sony TV remote to turn the TV on, use the Source button on the top left of the remote to make sure you are in HDMI1 (one) and use the Altec remote to turn the satellite Vast received box on. Use the Alec remote to change the TV channels.

2nd TV

Please note that the small TV in the living area with kitchenette is not working, we are waiting on a part to connect the satellite TV channel receiver.

Electrical Switchboard

The electrical switchboard is located in the storeroom in which is accessed through the carport. Blackouts and power surges are common in the area and beyond our control. If the power is out, please check the following and call Swell Stays.

  • Visit the Wester Power Website to see i come are any planned or unplanned power outages in the area. www.westernpower.com.au

  • If there are no local power outages, check the switchboard to see if any of the RCD switches are in the OFF position. If this is the case switch it to the ON position.

If the problem persists, please contact us on the office number provided.

Hot Water

The hot water is supplied by an instant gas unit. As long as there is gas and power to the unit, there should be hot water. See "large gas bottles" and "electrical switchboard" for more information. The controls for the hot water system are located in the kitchen on the wall beside the light switches. There is an on/ off switch on the control, please leave this On.

If there is no hot water, the large gas bottles may need changing over, or the power that supplies the ignition may have tripped.

Indoor Wood Fireplace

Feel free to enjoy the wood heater in winter. A limited supply of wood and kindling is available during the colder months, from May.- September. If you require wood in the warmer months, or wood has run out, you may purchase this in town at the service stations.
