At Swell Stays we are passionate about our region and our food! We love going out and having a nice meal in town and understand it is an important part of our guests holiday plans. So to help you choose where to go, here is a list of our favourite restaurants and why we like them!
We love Brewhouse for a late lunch & early afternoon beer. Try the squid salad, firecracker chicken wings and range of core & seasonal beers. TIP: They close early, so check the opening hours and look out for live music on the deck on Sunday arvos.
Cheese & meats board, fried olives (delicious!) and an Aperol Spritz at Pizzica.
Feel like you are in another part of the world as you step underground and into this tradition Italian woodfired pizzeria. We love the cheese & meat starter platter, all the pizzas and house wine. TIP: They offer two sittings around 6pm and 8pm, this little gem of a restaurant gets busy, so we recommend you make a booking.
Located above Pizzica but run by different owners we love this restaurant. Experience authentic Italian dining in a heritage property. TIP: Order an Aperol Spritz and try the homemade pasta or steak with gorgonzola sauce. Keep an eye out for the mid-week $30 pasta & wine special.
This tapas style bar and casual restaurant has a great atmosphere. Good for long table dinners, shared tapas plates and woodfired pizza. TIP: You can try wine on tap and buy bottles of Swings & Roundabouts wine to take home from the bar, in case you don’t have time to visit their Caves Road cellar door.
Settlers Tavern has got to be one of the locals favourites. It’s a great tavern that serves counter meals in the front bar and a diverse menu of locally sourced food in the back bistro area. TIP: Try the slow cooked meats from the outdoor American BBQ and check out the award-winning wine list or choose a glass of local wine from the black board specials.
Burger Baby! Say no more, if you feel like a burger & beer this is the place to go for great burgers and local beers on tap & in cans.

Miki's Open Kitchen, as the name suggests, features an open kitchen where guests can watch Miki and his team prepare authentic Japanese tempura dishes. The food is amazing! Everything on the menu is delicious, it’s hard to choose so why not trust the chef and order “Miki’s Trust” a degustation menu that changes monthly. Make sure you have a booking! TIP: This is a special occasion restaurant, if there are just two of you ask to sit at the counter when booking, you get a great view of the kitchen and can enjoy an interactive dinner experience.
This modern bar with tapas style share plates and delicious mains is a great place for a Friday night meal with friends. TIP: Choose a cocktail from the list and watch as award-winning cocktail maker Billy creates a tasty drink in front of your eyes.

Recently renovated and expanded, this is a great spot for a pre-dinner cocktail and a meal at the top of town.
The Common – Gnarabup
Beer, Bar and Bistro. One of only two restaurants in Gnarabup/Prevelly area make it a great spot for an afternoon beer on your way back from the beach or yummy dinner in the bistro dining area. TIP: Check out their Wednesday night Burger & Beer special.
