House Information
Welcome to Greenview! We hope you enjoy your stay and have a wonderful time exploring the Margaret River Region.

Network: TelstraD3492A

Wifi Modem
The NBN router is located on the kitchen benchtop. The light should be green, orange or red to indicate a connection however, it may at times be blue which is a mobile backup and will still work. If the connection is not working, please try to unplug and wait a few minutes to reboot the system this should assist with any issues that you may experience.
Hot Water
The hot water system is a small storage system, so it doesn’t cope well when lots of showers or a few long showers are taken in a row. Please keep this in mind, especially if you have a full house. You may need to space out your showering as the system needs time to refill and heat.
Amenities
We like to provide you with an initial supply of toilet paper, body wash, oil, salt and pepper sachets, tea bags, coffee sachets, bin liners, dishwashing liquid, washing powder etc. upon arrival. These items are complementary and additional supplies of these are available at any of the three supermarkets in town River Fresh IGA, Coles and Woolworths.
Air conditioning
You will find the remote control for the air conditioning located on the wall next to the door - please return it after use. The air conditioning is designed for your comfort at Greenview all year round. Please refer to the quick reference for an easy-to-follow guide. We would appreciate that you turn the unit off when you are not in the house.
Induction Cooktop
Please note that the kitchen cooktop is induction and will only work with the pans provided in the house.
To switch ON ensure that the wall hob switch is on and press the ON button located on the glass cooktop you will need to hold your finger for a few seconds to activate. Place the pans provided and press the correct location of pan to activate. Note* the induction will only turn on once contact has been made on the glass top with the pan. Use the slider bar in the middle to give desired heat 1 being the lowest and 9 being the highest. If you require quick cooking press the P button to give a huge boost to the temperature. Please be aware that the cooking time is dramatically decreased with induction cooking when using the boost button. Please wipe the cooktop surface with only non-scratch sponges or cloths.

Door Locks
Please do not lock the ’main door’ (from the lounge room/kitchen to the stairs/driveway) from the inside and pull shut as this makes it impossible to open from the outside. The door must be locked from the outside only, with the key.
For fire hazard safety, the ’main front door’ at street level should be able to be unlocked easily from the inside in case of emergency so no need to lock this from the outside - just turn the lock from inside.
Gas Bottles
Please note that if a gas bottle runs out during your stay you will need to manually switch to the other gas bottle. Please let us know if you have to switch bottles during your stay so we can be sure to order a replacement bottle.
Noise Curfew
Quiet time is from 9pm. Please be reminded that we have a strict no party policy and ask that you be respectful of our neighbours at all times during your stay, particularly after sunset we ask you to please bring any music/noise inside.
Firewood
Please be advised that firewood for the indoor wood fireplace at this house will only be provided from May - September. If you are staying outside this period, please bring your own firewood and fire starter kit (firelighters, newspaper etc) or be prepared to purchase bags of firewood once you arrive in the region. You can usually purchase wood from Mitre 10, Bunnings or Better Choice Service Station.
No Smoking
Strictly NO Smoking inside the house. Please make sure any outside smoking is away from open windows and doors and cigarette butts are extinguished and disposed of appropriately. Any cigarette/cigar odours inside the house will incur an additional cleaning charge.
Pets
Sorry, no pets.
Rubbish / Bins
There are 3 bins outside the house. Please make sure to put your rubbish in the bins before you leave so we can avoid ants from moving in.
The bin with the yellow lid is for recycling.
The bin with the red lid is for all other general waste.
The bin with the light green lid is for all organic waste including food scraps.
Smoke Alarms
This is fitted with a hard wired smoke alarm(s) with a battery back-up. Excessive smoke from cooking may set off the alarm. To turn off press the central button for a short period of time. If the alarm is continually making a regular ‘beep’ noise every 60 seconds it requires a new backup battery. Please advise our office so we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
