Casa Rua is a freshly renovated large 5 bedroom family holiday home with a unique Margaret River feel. The house is an original timber and stone two-storey 5 bed 2 bath home, set on 25 acres of native bushland, and surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens. With an expansive downstairs living area, brand new kitchen, 5 bedrooms and TV area upstairs, there is room for the whole family at Casa Rua.

The Space

Enter across the frog pond and through the double doors into the large downstairs living area with open stone fireplace the focal point. There is a separate dining area with table to seat 10 and brand new kitchen with everything you need including large gas stove, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine.

The main bathroom is downstairs with corner bath and double vanity and a laundry off the kitchen with washing machine. Upstairs you’ll find the 5 bedrooms. At the end of a short hall you’ll find the light & bright master bedroom with a king bed; please note there is no window treatment on the high windows. Next to this room at the top of the stairs is the A frame Queen bedroom. The upstairs bathroom has a toilet, shower cubicle and basin. The 3rd Queen room is next to the bathroom. Through the upstairs TV area are the two matching smaller bedrooms, each with a Single bed plus pull out bed - the singles can become a double bed on request.

The outdoor undercover dining area will be a favourite spot for your family to meet over an afternoon BBQ and bottle of the regions famous wine. Inside the garage there’s a foosball table and table tennis as well as a large grassed area and trampoline for the kids to play, everyone will be happy at Casa Rua.

The property is located 7kms south of Margaret River town, 5kms to Witchcliffe and within 3 kms of some of the regions best wineries - Leeuwin Estate, Voyager and Xanadu.

Other Things to Note

Bath: please note, from December 2024 there are no longer taps on the spa bath and guests are asked not to use the bath. It is now a shower only.

Linen: linen is included in your stay.

Pets: sorry no pets.

Safety: Please note that this is a rural property. There is wildlife, neighbouring farm animals and a dam/soak on to the property which is not fully fenced. If children are joining you, your little ones will need to be supervised at all times. Please take care.

Gravel Road: Please note, there is a section of gravel road and driveway to get to the property.
