Please do not park in the driveway, it is a shared driveway. Please park on car in the carport, please be careful as the carport is small.

The fireplace is a modern style Morso wood fire. Please follow these instructions when lighting the fire. Please use only small pieces of wood:

Morso Fireplace manual

Firewood

We provide ‘starter wood’ to get you going for your first fire. After this is used up, you will need to purchase your own. Please use only small pieces of wood in the fire.

Please be advised that firewood for the indoor wood fireplace at this house will only be provided from May - September. If you are staying outside this period, please bring your own firewood and fire starter kit (firelighters, newspaper etc) or be prepared to purchase bags of firewood once you arrive in the region. You can usually purchase wood from Mitre 10, Bunnings or Better Choice Service Station.

Charging Cables and Charging Stands

The charging cables and stands provided in the house have been thoughtfully set up by the owner for your convenience during your stay. We kindly ask that you leave them in the house upon your departure so that future guests can enjoy the same convenience.

Please to not take them home!

No Smoking

Strictly NO Smoking at the property, inside or out.

Pets

The house is ‘Pet Friendly’ and we love small furry friends :) Small non-allogeneic breeds are permitted to stay. A maximum of 2 dogs allowed at any one time. The yard is fully fenced. All dogs must be kept off furniture/beds and out of carpeted rooms (bedrooms). Please let us know if you are bringing your dog along, at the time of booking.

Rubbish / Bins

There are 3 bins outside the house. Please make sure to put your rubbish in the bins before you leave so we can avoid ants from moving in.

  • The bin with the yellow lid is for recycling.

  • The bin with the red lid is for all other general waste.

  • The bin with the light green lid is for all organic waste including food scraps.

Smoke Alarms

This is fitted with a hard wired smoke alarm(s) with a battery back-up. Excessive smoke from cooking may set off the alarm. To turn off press the central button for a short period of time. If the alarm is continually making a regular ‘beep’ noise every 60 seconds it requires a new backup battery. Please advise our office so we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
