Parking

Once you have arrived at the house, you may want to move your car to the back of the townhouse. Drive down Station Road and turn left into the driveway after the surgery carpark. There is a number 5 on the brick wall to the right, follow the driveway to the end (there is visitor bays on the left here), turn left and then turn left again. You’ll see the carport for #1 right in front, the parking for Blue Dune Loft is on the right, in front of the carport for #2. The parking is tight, please take care when parking. There is room for one car in the driveway in front of the carport. Please do not block the driveway/carport of unit #1. You can also park out the front of the townhouse in the gravel car park on the corner of Wallcliffe and Station Roads, where you were directed to pull up when you arrived.

We like to provide you with an initial supply of toilet paper, body wash, oil, salt and pepper sachets, tea bags, coffee sachets, bin liners, dishwashing liquid, washing powder etc. upon arrival. These items are complementary and additional supplies of these are available at any of the three supermarkets in town River Fresh IGA, Coles and Woolworths.

The downstairs TV has free to air channels, however there is no ABC. Please note the upstairs TV is not connected to free to air channels, just for PS and Xbox.

Air con

Use the Mode button to change the setting to Heat or Cool - please do not use on Auto.

Bathroom Window

The bathroom window is a double, one panel goes up and other one goes down. So thats why the lock might not line up if opened, just need to make sure both are pushed up and down.

Quiet time is from 9pm. Please be reminded that we have a strict no party policy and ask that you be respectful of our neighbours at all times during your stay, particularly after sunset we ask you to please bring any music/noise inside.

No Smoking

Strictly NO Smoking inside the house. Please make sure any outside smoking is away from open windows and doors and cigarette butts are extinguished and disposed of appropriately. Any cigarette/cigar odours inside the house will incur an additional cleaning charge.

Rubbish / Bins

There are 3 bins outside the house. Please make sure to put your rubbish in the bins before you leave so we can avoid ants from moving in.

  • The bin with the yellow lid is for recycling.

  • The bin with the red lid is for all other general waste.

  • The bin with the light green lid is for all organic waste including food scraps.

  • The smallest bin is for recyclable cans and bottles.

Recyclable cans and bottles

Swell Stays works together with Riley from Riley Unlimited (Facebook: Riley Unlimited Abilities) to save containers to go to landfill.

Riley is a passionate "eco warrior" on a mission to play his part in supporting sustainable environmental principles whilst earning money to support his goal of buying a small van or ute for collections, with the bigger aim of one day purchasing his own home so that he can live independently. Riley has an intellectual disability, and has assistance from support workers to drive the collection vehicle.

Riley and his support workers come around the property every Tuesday between 10 am and 12 am to empty the bin.

Smoke Alarms

This is fitted with a hard wired smoke alarm(s) with a battery back-up. Excessive smoke from cooking may set off the alarm. To turn off press the central button for a short period of time. If the alarm is continually making a regular β€˜beep’ noise every 60 seconds it requires a new backup battery. Please advise our office so we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
