There is also a QR code on the fridge for your convenice, simply scan with your device and log in.

Front door lock

Front door will self lock after a few seconds upon exiting. Please make sure you know the code when leaving.

Reception

Please do not go to the Margarets Forest reception. Some apartments in the complex are managed by the main reception, but we are the sole managers for this apartment. Please contact Swell Stays with any questions during your stay.

Amenities

We like to provide you with an initial supply of toilet paper, body wash, oil, salt and pepper sachets, tea bags, coffee sachets, bin liners, dishwashing liquid, washing powder etc. upon arrival. These items are complementary and additional supplies of these are available at any of the three supermarkets in town River Fresh IGA, Coles and Woolworths.

Oven Switch

There is a switch on the wall to the right of the cooktop that needs to be turned on for the oven to work.

TV

The living room TV is a brand new Samsung smart TV. Turn on using the top left button on the remote. Press the Home button if not already on the home screen. Use the raised circle section of the remote to track up/down, left/right through the menu eg. click the top of the circle to go up, the right side of the circle to go right. To go to Live/Free to air TV channels, navigate to the Live TV blue ‘app’ on the home screen.

The TV is connected to wifi so you can log into your Netflix and other available streaming account. Please make sure you log out afterwards, as we can’t be responsible for other guest using your account.

Wireless speaker (in bedroom)

1. Turn on power

2. Press and hold the bluetooth button for a few seconds until bluetooth light begins blinking.

3. On smartphone/tablet turn on bluetooth in device setting, search and select for Bose Revolve

EV Charging

There is a RAC DC charger near the opposite end of town and Tesla car chargers at Woolies.

Noise Curfew

Quiet time is from 9pm. Please be reminded that we have a strict no party policy and ask that you be respectful of our neighbours at all times during your stay, particularly after sunset we ask you to please bring any music/noise inside.

No Smoking

Strictly NO Smoking inside the house.

Please make sure any outside smoking is away from open windows and doors and cigarette butts are extinguished and disposed of appropriately. Any cigarette/cigar odours inside the house will incur an additional cleaning charge.

Rubbish / Bins

There are 3 bins outside the house. Please make sure to put your rubbish in the bins before you leave so we can avoid ants from moving in.

• The bin with the yellow lid is for recycling.

• The bin with the red lid is for all other general waste.

• The bin with the light green lid is for all organic waste including food scraps.

Smoke Alarms

This is fitted with a hard wired smoke alarm(s) with a battery back-up. Excessive smoke from cooking may set off the alarm. To turn off press the central button for a short period of time. If the alarm is continually making a regular ‘beep’ noise every 60 seconds it requires a new backup battery. Please advise our office so we can make the necessary arrangements for you.

Check-out Procedure

• Check-out - Check-out time is anytime before 10am

• Linen - please leave used beds unmade

• Dishes - please wash and put away all dishes / cutlery / crockery

• Power Off - please make sure you turn off the stove, all lights, heaters etc.

• Furniture - please return any furniture that was rearranged during your stay to it’s original position

• Rubbish - please take out the rubbish

• Towels - please leave used towels on the bathroom floor

• Door - please make sure you lock all the doors. Please ensure the front door is closed and check that it is locked upon leaving. 

• Personal Belongings - please do a final check of the house for any personal belongings before you leave
